1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using User Account Manager ("the App"), you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.
These Terms are supplementary to the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use and the Atlassian Software License Agreement, which also govern your use of the App.
2. Description of the App
User Account Manager is an administration tool available on the Atlassian Marketplace that helps Jira organisation administrators manage users, monitor license usage, and maintain oversight of their Atlassian Cloud organization. The App runs entirely on Atlassian Forge infrastructure.
Key capabilities include:
- Viewing and managing user accounts across Jira, Confluence, and JSM
- Monitoring license usage and product access
- Identifying inactive users based on configurable thresholds
- Managing product access assignments
- Maintaining audit logs of administrative actions
- Exporting user data and audit logs as CSV
3. Eligibility and Access
The App is designed exclusively for use by Jira organisation administrators. Access is enforced at the Atlassian platform level. You must have a valid Atlassian Cloud subscription and the appropriate administrator permissions to use the App.
4. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable subscription or payment obligations, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App within your Atlassian Cloud instance for its intended purpose of user and license management.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Sublicense, resell, rent, lease, or distribute the App to third parties
- Use the App for any purpose other than its intended functionality
- Attempt to circumvent any access controls or security measures
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- API key management: Securely managing the Atlassian Admin API key you provide to the App, including revoking and rotating it as needed
- Authorized use: Ensuring that only authorized administrators within your organization access and use the App
- Compliance: Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Administrative actions: All actions performed through the App (user deactivations, product access changes, etc.) are initiated by your administrators and are your responsibility
- Data accuracy: Verifying the accuracy of information before taking administrative actions based on data displayed by the App
6. Data and Privacy
Our collection, use, and storage of data are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to our data practices as described therein.
Key points:
- The App runs entirely on Atlassian Forge infrastructure
- User data is fetched in real-time and not persistently stored (except audit logs and configuration settings)
- All persistent data is stored in Atlassian Forge Storage, encrypted at rest
- No data is transmitted to any non-Atlassian service
- You remain the data controller at all times
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its code, design, features, and documentation, are and remain the exclusive property of the App developer. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.
All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used in the App (including Atlassian, Jira, Confluence, and JSM) are the property of their respective owners.
8. Subscription and Payment
The App is offered through the Atlassian Marketplace. Pricing, billing, and subscription management are handled through Atlassian's Marketplace platform in accordance with Atlassian's terms. Refund policies are governed by the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use.
9. Support
Technical support is provided through our support portal. We will make reasonable efforts to respond to support requests in a timely manner. Support is provided in English and French.

The App runs on Atlassian Forge and depends on the availability of Atlassian's cloud infrastructure and APIs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App.
- Platform dependency: The App's availability is subject to Atlassian Forge uptime and the availability of Atlassian product APIs
- API limitations: Functionality may be affected by Atlassian API rate limits, changes, or deprecations
- Maintenance: We may release updates to improve functionality, fix issues, or maintain compatibility with Atlassian platform changes
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for any actions taken by your administrators through the App, including user deactivations, product access changes, or any consequences thereof.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the App developer from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Administrative actions performed through the App by your authorized users
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
13. Termination
- By you: You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Atlassian instance. Uninstalling removes all associated data stored in Forge Storage.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, subject to reasonable notice where practicable.
- Effect of termination: Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 7, 11, 12, and 15 survive termination.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the Atlassian Marketplace or the App interface.
15. General Provisions
- Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of France.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
